HISTORY
In the 1970s, Alexandra Storm left her family's Mexican restaurant business in Los Angeles to attend the University of Colorado and to pursue her passion to ski. She fell in love with Breckenridge and stayed to open her own restaurant here in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant and Cantina opened in 1981, combining Alexandra's love of great Mexican food with the beauty of Summit County. Shortly after, Dick Carleton joined her and they have been serving award-winning cuisine to locals and visitors ever since.
We want our guests to experience the traditional flavors of Mexico right here in Breckenridge, Colorado. In order to achieve this, our team has taken numerous trips to different regions of Mexico to study the culture, food and tequila. Mi Casa's atmosphere and menu are a reflection of the flavors, sights and traditions experienced on our many excursions.
We hope you enjoy.
